Investment Fair in cultural and creative industries

a2db4b2da8d0526fccaf957d8bd327e6Centre for Cultural Management, in the framework of the project “Bridging Gaps for Inclusive Civic Engagement” funded by the European Union, invites to participate in the Investment Fair of Cultural and Creative Industries taking place in Lviv on 30-31 March 2018. The event will gather experts and entrepreneurs in the area of creative economy, who will be able to present their business projects, meet potential partners, and search for opportunities to develop their businesses.

In addition, during the event, entrepreneurs out of IDPs will present their business projects. Based on the Fair results, the best projects will receive financial and other support.

The programme includes:

  • networking for entrepreneurs, experts in creative industries and organizations working in business support;
  • presentations of successful business projects in the area of cultural and creative industries;
  • discussion of opportunities in the CCI area.

The deadline for registration is 15 March.

We’d like to point out that three cultural and creative industries forums have already been held in Dnipro in the framework of the project “Bridging Gaps for Inclusive Civic Engagement” funded by the EU. The events gathered over 500 participants from all over Ukraine, who were able to present their projects and find likeminded people for business development. During 2016-2017 the project organizers have also delivered seminars on business development in the area of cultural and creative industries for IDPs.

Cultural and creative industries ‒ is creation, production and commercialization of creative contents, which are non-material and cultural in their nature. This area comprises theatre and fine arts, cinema, TV and radio, music, publishing, computer games, new media, architecture, design, fashion, advertising, etc.

Investment Fair of Cultural and Creative Industries ‒ is a component of the project “Bridging Gaps for Inclusive Civic Engagement”. The project is funded by the European Union, the National Endowment for Democracy (USA) and Polish-American Freedom Foundation. The project is implemented by NGO Centre for Cultural Management (Lviv) in partnership with Charitable Foundation “Pomogaem” (Dnipro), Ukrainian Library Association (Kyiv) and Information Society Development Foundation (Warsaw).

The project duration – from June 2016 till May 2018. The two-year project is aimed at establishing partnership between active citizens from different regions, and at supporting people who suffered from the conflict at the east of Ukraine.
